Ho Chi Minh

Ho Chi Minh museum
The first day in Ho Chi Minh City we went to Ho Chi Minh museum. We grabbed a taxi. The building was made of stone. We went inside and started to look around. I saw a man behind the desk and decided to interview him.
-Excuse me sir, may I ask you some questions?
-Yes, of course, but you have to be quick because I have a lot to do.
- Thank you sir. First, I would like to ask you what are you working as here in Ho Chi Minh museum?
-I’m a guide. I take people in groups of 15 and guide them around the museum. It’s a really exciting job.
-Interesting, Do you like your colleges?
-Oh yes, they are all really nice. We are a really good theme.
-What do you like best about your job?
-oh, that’s a hard question because I love everything about my job, but I have to say all the people I’m meeting from countries all over the world.
-When you say this, are many of the visitors, foreign tourists?
-oh yes, it’s a lot of foreign tourists here, but it’s also a lot of people from Vietnam. They come from all over the country to see this museum. It’s a famous museum. It’s not a lot of people from Norway, but its far away, you are from Norway aren’t you?
-Yes I am.
- I heard it when you talked on the phone.
- You are a guide here on Ho Chi Minh museum so of course you know a lot about this place, who was actually Ho Chi Minh?
-oh, I get that question a lot. Ho Chi Minh was a Vietnamese Communist Revolutionary and statesman who was prime minister from 1946-1955 and president from 1945-1969 of the Democratic Republic of North Vietnam.
- Ok. Was he a good prime minister and president? Did people like him?
-Yes he was a great prime minister and president, but unfortunately he died in 1996.
- I can’t wait to see the museum, maybe you could guide me around?
-Yes, of course, but not today. I have an appointment.
-Ok. Then I’ll see you tomorrow and thank you very much for the interview sir.
