The Linh Son Temple

Now we have dropped into the city Da Lat, and we have decided to visit the Linh Son temple, witch we have read a small text about in our tourist guide book for Vietnam. When we went to the temple we saw a man. He said that ha was employed at the temple. For know a little more about the temple before visiting, we decided to interview the man.

We asked the man if he could tell us something about witch region the temple belongs to. He said: “The temple belongs to the Buddhist region, witch is the main region in Vietnam”, he told us.
We asked the man if he could tell us about in witch city or town the temple is placed. He said:
“The temple is placed on a hill north-west for Da Lat city, and it’s built in classic Asian style”, he told us.
We have read something about there is a statue in the middle of the hall, inside the temple. We asked the man if he could tell us something about who the statue depicts. He said:
“The statue depicts Gautama Buddha”.
When we’re talking about the statue, we asked him to tell how heavy the statue is? He said:
“The statue weighs about 1250kg”, he told me.
We were wondering if the man could see the beautifully ornaments at the roof from our position, and we asked him:” what are the ornaments going to imagine”? He said:
“The ornaments are going to imagine dragons”.
We asked the man if he could tell us something about if the temple is popular or not. He said:
“The temple is an elegant and popular tourist attraction in the tourist, resort city, Da Lat.

So now do we now a little more about the temple, and we hope that will help us to understand more when we’re visiting the temple.
